Primary Purpose:

Lead the site supervision team on the Civil works on PUB’s waterworks project.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

•Lead the site supervision team on the Civil works on PUB’s waterworks project.

•Assist CRE on all Civil & Structural site issue’s and supporting critical defects and punch lists rectification works

•Involvement in contract-related matters on the project. Attendance in meetings, discussions with clients, contractors and to lead in technical and progress discussions

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 5 years related work experience All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

•Good graduate Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, preferably recognised by the PE Board

•Minimum 8 - 10 years of construction experience in supervising civil and structural works.

•Good experience in water treatment plant projects, including pipe jacking works and contract management would be an added advantage

•A registered Resident Engineer with IES/ACES

•Conversant with local building codes and regulations

•Good knowledge of civil and structural details, working drawings, and local construction practices

•Those with design (concrete or steel) capabilities will possess a distinct advantage

•Good leadership and supervisory skills with experience in leading a group of Resident Technical Officers
