Provide technical management support to managers and the business team to facilitate, expedite, and drive to closure all assigned sites. Administers site contract requirements related to document collection, document review for quality and accuracy, timing of activities and bridges communication between field personnel, subcontractors, program personnel and project support assistants. The Project Facilitator has the ability to support managers in different regions quickly adapting to differing regions requirements. Must provide high level interaction across various functional groups and understand the process for building sites. Understand payment structures and how their work and their teams work to support the payment structures. Ability to adapt to change and lead by example while maintaining a high degree of quality and accuracy.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Helps negotiate with client in circumstances where certain documentation is unavailable and provides alternative solutions for consideration. • Works with Program Office Procurement to develop backcharge notices, withholding payments and rejection of invoices. • Manage work flow and work assignment as necessary. • Actively engage in multiple markets for value improvements. • Must be able to maintain and manage subcontractor relationships while assuring that work is performed in accordance with project requirements. Provides subcontractors with information and direction, as outlined within contract specifications, to allow work to proceed as scheduled. • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates supplier and contractor activities, products, and reports for adherence to the B&V requirements. Monitors subcontractor quality personnel in the execution of their work. Monitors and tracks all open transactions. • Follows up, coordinates and communicates with clients, managers, engineers, suppliers, contractors, subcontractors, and field staff to ensure that applicable codes and specifications are met. For example, reviews zoning drawings prior to submittal for client requirements. • Performs QA/QC function on construction and site acquisition submittals. Reviews & approves site specific documents. • Reviews contract specifications determining all documentation submittals required for payment from our customer and maintaining a high degree of customer service and integrity dealing with clients. • Participate in process initiatives to support execution activities. • Oversees development of project trackers and coordinates with markets for implementation of trackers. • •Generates records, reports, correspondence, and other documentation in the performance of the work. • Ability to maintain multiple projects and priorities at one time and effectively finish projects in a timely manner. • Develops project deliverables from sketches, written and/or verbal instructions. • Applies judgment and makes decisions with respect to deliverables and input interpretation. • Assist in coordinating deliverables with other groups involved on the same project to minimize interference or errors. • Assists with expediting large volume of submittals and/or confirming that such submittals have been received from subcontractors. • Adhere to and train others on certain processes and procedures including the closeout documentation procedure in multiple markets. • Identifies and assesses improvement opportunities which will add value. • Ability to perform audits with full knowledge of multiple markets. • Leads weekly calls with specified markets. • Capable of performing special projects as requested with minimal supervision. • Acts in capacity of a “lead person”. Education: High School diploma or euivalent. Preferred Job Qualifications:
Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Related Field (preferred). Experience: 4 – 6 years construction or site acquisition work experience (preferred).
