Primary Purpose:

As assets age and deteriorate, understanding their current condition and how that condition is changing becomes an increasingly important component of informed, cost-effective decision making.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Leadership of the Condition Assessment & Asset Management Community of Practice including building and guiding business development, project management, and technical delivery of work.

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 15 years related work experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have 15 or more years of experience in selling and executing asset management and condition assessment work. The business development needs includes a dual focus of 1) direct marketing of regional clients leading to selection of work, and 2) the ability to work throughout the Americas leading to selection of work in close coordination with local Client Service Managers and Project Managers. Business development activities also includes strategy development, market segmentation, and completing workshops and client meetings. The candidate will also be able to manage and execute work. This involves serving as a project manager, a technical manager, a technical reviewer, or executing work tasks directly in support of projects. A broad understanding of asset management and condition assessment technical areas is important. Desired areas of expertise include: enterprise asset management, information systems including CMMS, field inspections, inspection technologies, interpretation of field data, and rehabilitation/replacement recommendations and technologies. The candidate will be integral to further advancing our highly successful asset management practice.
