Primary Purpose:

Supports general administration of tax compliance and registrations. Works under close supervision.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Compliance & Reporting: Support Business license, annual reports, and other tax compliance • Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns. • May assist in filing of original and/or annual tax registrations • Assist in organizing tax returns for record. Dispute & Resolutions: • Assist with documentation for tax inquiries. Accounting for Taxes: • Assist with annual tax provision calculations. Supervisory/Management: • Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvement Primary Internal Clients: • Primary internal clients are finance managers and/or finance supervisors.

Minimum Qualifications:

Typically two years of experience or Bachelor's degree in relevant field.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

High school diploma preferred. Preferred Technical Competencies: • Microsoft Office Suite, Basic • Knowledge of Black & Veatch Systems, Basic • General Accounting knowledge, Basic Preferred Non-Technical Competencies: • Customer Focus • Organizing • Planning • Written Communications • Action Oriented • Informing • Peer Relationships
